WHAT'S IN IT?

VITAMIN A

Vitamin A supports protein synthesis, which is essential for muscle growth. If its role in muscle growth and repair is not enough, vitamin A also has a direct effect on testosterone, the body's most powerful muscle-building hormone.

VITAMIN C

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps metabolise carbs for fuel and protects the body from exercise-induced oxidative stress. It also helps the body absorb iron and protects against energy-sapping infections.

VITAMIN D

Vitamin D plays an essential role in muscle growth and development and in regulating muscle contractility. Vitamin D is also essential to absorb calcium and promote bone growth.

VITAMIN E

Vitamin E is an important vitamin required for the proper function of many organs in the body. It is also an antioxidant. This means it helps to slow down processes that damage cells.

THIAMIN

Thiamine is a B vitamin (B1) that help the body convert food (carbohydrates) into fuel (glucose), which the body uses to produce energy. These B vitamins, often referred to as B-complex vitamins, also help the body metabolize fats and protein.

RIBOFLAVIN

Riboflavin is a vitamin that is needed for growth and overall good health. It helps the body break down carbohydrates, proteins and fats to produce energy, and it allows oxygen to be used by the body

NIACIN (AS NICOTINAMIDE)

Niacin (niacinimide), also known as B3 is involved in numerous reactions inside of cells that convert nutrients into cellular energy. Niacin’s primary cognitive action is as a cerebral vasodilator, which means it increases blood circulation to the brain. By delivering more oxygen, glucose and other nutrients to the brain, niacin can result in higher levels of alertness and greater concentration and mental stamina. Applying niacin pre-workout can cause the blood vessels to dilate, which could in turn support greater muscle pumps.

VITAMIN B6

Vitamin B6, also known as pyridoxine, is a water-soluble vitamin that your body needs for several functions. It's significant to protein, fat and carbohydrate metabolism and the creation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters (1). Your body cannot produce vitamin B6, so you must obtain it from foods or supplements.

PTEROYLMONOGLUTAMIC ACID

Pteroylmonoglutamic acid (also known as folic acid) is an essential B vitamin (B9) that plays an important role in DNA and RNA synthesis, production of red blood cells, cardiovascular health, mood, mental functioning and maintenance of the nervous system. Adequate levels of folic acid help to maintain low levels of homocysteine, which in turn supports nerve cells in the brain that produce dopamine. It is found that as exercise intensity increases, consuming more folic acid can contribute to lower homocysteine plasma levels.

VITAMIN B12

Vitamin B12 assists in metabolizing protein and fat. As a bodybuilder, you need the amino acids from the protein metabolism to repair and build your muscles and the fat as a source of energy. Vitamin B12 is also essential for the production of red blood cells, which are necessary for delivering oxygen to those muscles. This nutrient also supports healthy neurological function, which is needed for muscle control.

BIOTIN

Biotin plays an important role in converting carbohydrates, fats and proteins into energy. It also helps keep hair and skin looking healthy and prevents your hair from turning grey.

PANTOTHENIC ACID (VITAMIN B5)

Pantothenic acid is important for our bodies to properly use carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids and for healthy skin. Vitamin B5 is also involved in the creation of adrenal hormones and red blood cells. Once consumed, your body converts vitamin B5 into coenzyme A, a catalyst. This is crucial to the body in the production of energy. Vitamin B5 works together with other B vitamins in the ATP making process. This is important because ATP accelerates the cells in the body providing energy for you to operate your body on daily. Studies have shown that pantothenic acid can help your body maintain cholesterol levels and healthy levels of triglyceride.

CALCIUM

Calcium is responsible for providing strong teeth and bones. Calcium is also vital for muscle contraction and energy metabolism.Calcium deficiencies can an also trigger the release of calcitrol, a hormone that causes you to store fat.

PHOSPHORUS

Phosphorus is in the formation of bones and teeth. It plays an important role in how the body uses carbohydrates and fats. It is also needed for the body to make protein for the growth, maintenance, and repair of cells and tissues.
