MICELLAR CASEIN

It is a type of slow releasing protein which ensures there is a constant supply of amino acids. Micellar form of Casein has had the lactose, fat and other byproducts of dairy removed from the end product reducing intolerances to this form of Protein Powder. Casein is a very slow-digesting protein source which can supply the body with amino acids for up to 7 hours. This is ideal for those times when you will be without nutrients for an extended period of time.

BCAA’S (BRANCHED-CHAIN AMINO ACIDS)

BCAA’s (Branched-Chain Amino Acids) are essential in supporting muscle recovery and function as they help stimulate protein synthesis resulting in muscle growth, as well as aid in the supply of energy to the muscle during exercise. OPTIMUM NUTRITION – GOLD STANDARD 100% CASEIN has 5.5g of Naturally Occurring BCAAs. Branched-Chain Amino Acids are made up of three specific and essential amino acids (EAA’s): L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine. Not only do these essential amino acids help in building muscle, they may also help in the prevention of muscle breakdown.

DIRECTIONS

Using a shaker cup is the easiest and most convenient way to mix up a consistently great casein shake every time. Just add one heaping scoop of Gold Standard 100% Casein to your shaker cup and then pour in 10-12 oz of your preferred beverage. Cover and shake for 25-30 seconds.

BLENDER: Add one heaping scoop of Gold Standard 100% Casein to a blender filled with 10-12 oz of water, milk, or your favorite beverage. Blend for 20-30 seconds. Then add 3-4 ice cubes and blend for an additional 30 seconds.

SPOON STIRRED: If you forgot your shaker cup or don’t have time to get out the blender, you can just add one heaping scoop of Gold Standard 100% Casein to a glass filled with 10-12 oz of cold water, milk, or you favorite beverage. Then mix it up with a spoon for about 30 seconds or until powder is dissolved.
